One of Washington's main attractions is the CONSOL Energy Park. It is home to the independent baseball team, the Washington Wild Things. They have had tremendous success and seeing them play in the stadium is an entertaining experience. The stadium also hosts concerts for artists like the Counting Crows and Trace Adkins, which are sure to be some of the most entertaining and memorable nights of your life! The PONY Baseball and Softball headquarters and PONY League World Series, for ages 13 and 14, are hosted in Washington as well. If baseball isn't your sport, maybe football is. The Pittsburgh Steelers are nearby, and this city supports the team 100 percent! In fact, when they won Super Bowl XL in 2006 they officially renamed the city Steelers, Pennsylvania for one week.
There are also chances to enjoy the culture and performing arts of Washington. Off the Wall Productions puts on plays and musicals for the residents. So does the Washington Community Theater, Inc. which even hosts one show at Washington Park in the Main Pavilion. Another way to enjoy the arts is to go see one or more of the five concerts performed by the Washington Symphony Orchestra.
