Very poor quality from builders to salespeople. I would not recommend or buy again from them

It was a nightmares.

Most miserable experience. Even when I tried to submit my initial review, It was deleted and I was asked to re-write it. This pretty much sums up my entire experience. K hov simply doesn't care and they make that clear. They promised numerous items and a certain level of service that they chose not to deliver. When I addressed with Sr. Management I received rude and insulting emails stating that I should read the contract and I'm pretty much stuck. But what do you expect for a "high-end" builder? I was treated like I was intruder when my house was getting built I was told to leave or he will call the police on me and my wife poor way to treat people and with my repairs not getting done because they saying there is nothing wrong .crack concrete stain and poor repairs on a back patio I pay 14000 dollars to have poor cuality not very happy I will let you know is a good house but the people working on a construction at garden glen are poor mind people that they only looking at production and not quality and customer service to satisfy your buyers or home owners. Can’t wait to sell

Avoid this builder. House has problems everywhere. Literally not a single surface without issues. Builder also forgot to build paid-for options. Cleaners left piles of dirt on floor and in cabinets. If I could get in a time machine and travel to a time before I signed the contract, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Laundry list of issues with the house before we even moved in. Many items still haven't been fixed. Sales reps are great until you give them a deposit. The house was clearly rushed and I am sure we will experience more issues down the road.

Worest paint job counter dont Match and cut woung cheap dishwasher avoid

This is worse quality . I had so many issues within few Months of moving in . Stay away from this builder !!!

There are multiple problems with my home. When they placed the bottom plate on the door, they sheared it off and just stucco it it. There is paint and tape adhesive all over my windows. The gutter is dent inward and outward, totally not smooth and normal looking. There is stucco all over the water faucet in the backyard that I can’t even turn the water off, I have to keep a hose with a sprayer on the end of the hose, so it won’t leak. There are boot prints all over the walls and ceiling in the garage. The pole in the garage in front of the water heater is not straight and I have to keep something wrapped around it, or the side garage door hits it. All the hands and the thermostat on the wall is crooked. Out front the flashing (the metal part) is bent, pieced together, sharp, with gaps in them. The stucco around the door outside the garage already has gaps in it. The grout in the shower is already cracked in the corner. The bricks on the front wall in the front of the house are cracked. There are 3 holes in the concrete in front of the house and part of one corner is cracked. Paying close to $600,000 you would expect much better quality of home. So incredibly disappointed. ... More

I will definitely not recommend this builder

Quality of our home shows a total lack of effort. Some items are so embarrassing, one might think they would rush over to correct? No, wait weeks on end to get a repair that is only slightly better than the original mess. At some point you just give up which seems to be the K Hov warranty strategy.

I will not buy again K.Hovnanian because Quality is really Bad.A lot of issues need to be fix.Construction worker and inspection are not professional.They don’t know how to do they jobs.We are not happy.If we know the kind of issues we wouldn’t buy a home from K.Hovnanian.We should buy other Builder.We spend so much money for our home but quality we got very very bad.I will not recommend all my family’s,coworkers and all my friends.All outside Electronically outlets no power until now.I told construction manager and supervisor but still not done yet.Home number sign has no light until now.Flooring had gap everywhere upstairs and down stairs.ant and spider coming from flooring gap hole.we are very disappointed.Stairs handle was broken.Screws mark hole every where.Dry wall had damaged and bath tube had damaged in master bathroom and downstairs full bath.We spend so much money for a home but not even worth it.Very careless peoples.We are the most not happy about our home a lot of issues need to be fix it.Support to be no need to be worry about anything.If you guys are expect persons it shouldn’t be like this.Very Very Bad construction K.Hovnanian.Sale agent was super nice and she know what she doing her jobs.She was more then outstanding jobs.Her name is Niki.I will give her 100%.We are very happy with sale agent Niki.We are spending so much money for upgrading but Quality was really bad.Construction peoples are not professional.They are not doing good jobs for most likely every where our home.Other home owner have a lot issues too.Overall we are not happy because of a lot of issues need to be fix.Support to be not to worry about anything.We will not buy again K.Hovnanian in our life time.It is our family’s dream home support to be enjoying and happiness because of construction workers are not very careless and don’t care about home owners.Because of what they did our home quality was very very Bad.That right we can not enjoy our dream family’s home and we are not happy.Never buy again with K.Hovnanian Homes. ... I have tried to post a review a few times, but I was asked to resubmit for inappropriate content. I have no idea what the inappropriate content was though; it is a poor review. I will keep this brief so that it does not get flagged again. I have had numerous issues with the builder from sales giving inaccurate information to builders' poor quality work. I have had a list of over 30 things to get repaired or finished. It was not completed within 30 days as promised. My house was still very incomplete at walk-throughs and dealing with contractors had been a headache. There are several issues with the house that have not been fixed. I am very unhappy in kovanian homes warranty service depot. I feel I got ripped off buy buying this house

Howard our walkthrough specialist failed to go over most of the items on the checklist. Of course we had no idea bc he never showed us the checklist and had us text message him that he could sign it for us. I had to beg for a copy of what he signed for us and when I finally got it, I realized how much we missed out on. There was a line of ants from the front door to the back slider and it was never addressed prior to closing. Areas marked by Howard still have tape on them and were never painted or addressed. I set up an appointment for the warranty specialist to come and address the items we pointed out during our final walkthrough. Howard assures is these would get addressed. The warranty specialist never showed and did not even bother to call or email is that he wasn’t coming. We wasted an entire day waiting only to get a call weeks later apologizing for the no show and a reschedule. I am requesting a new walkthrough so that I can be familiar with the different systems in the house such as where the sewer clean is among others. ... More

Rushed to close. Unfinished home. Played games with the financing and credits. Poor experience all around.
