Bob, the owner, grew up on Maryland's Eastern Shore and earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from The Citadel Military College in South Carolina. Bob worked as a consultant engineer in South Carolina for five years after graduating from The Citadel. After that, he accepted a position in construction and project management. Bob accepted the opportunity to work abroad after completing projects throughout the Southeast, spending ten years in countries such as Brazil, Switzerland, Sweden, Austria, and Ireland.

Focus takes a different approach to custom home construction. They offer a national builder's professional and systemic approach, a local custom builder's personalized service and attention to detail, and the value of a company that can provide both to its clients. Focus is built on a foundation of engineering, architectural design, project management experience, and real estate expertise, resulting in a one-of-a-kind set of tools for designing, permitting, and delivering your home.
